Everything the small coral has and more!  At 18" tall, you will need a vertical stabilizer for your showpiece (angled section in upper left corner of mat). When cast and placed behind the coral, it provides excellent vertical support to hold the coral upright when assembling or moving your sculpture. To create more 3 dimensional depth to your showpiece, Chef Tréand has included two smaller coral arms. These can be cast and attached to the front or back of your coral structure to add connection points for chocolate or sugar fishes.

The bottomless design of these mats allows for easy unmolding. Additionally, you can put a sheet of vinyl, textured mat or a transfer sheet beneath the silicone for added effect. You can also expand or compress the flexible side walls of the mat to alter the perimeter of the coral allowing you to make many different coral shapes from the same mat. Size: Comes in two sizes; small makes an 11½" (29.21cm) x 8½" (21.6cm) casting for amenities & centerpieces; large (shown above) makes an 18½" (46.9cm) x 14" (35.56 cm) casting for showpieces.

Made of food contact safe silicone. Wash before use. Do not heat above 450° F/ 232° C.
