The large Hollyhock leaf is approximately 9½" in diameter. It was one of the first leaf molds we ever made, and it has certainly stood the test of time. The round shape makes this mold a favorite for those who want to make lily pads.

Casting tip: If casting with sugar, use a light transparent color to bring out the best detail. For extra splash, apply luster dust to the detailed side of the leaf and you will see every vein and ripple!

It is ideal for pressing pastillage, marzipan, or pouring isomalt/sugar into it. Reshape the flat leaf to create a different looking leaf each time. Many chefs use this mold to make lilly pads in showpieces or for decoration on buffet tables.

These Botanical molds are made of a high quality, food contact safe platinum cured silicone. Flex & Bake™ silicone can be used for baking up to 450° F. / 232° C. Wash before use.
